Working reality on the ground...

𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒈𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅 ...

On the last of the six Thursdays presenting "6 years Iraq - Stories of displacement and refuge", we wanted to shed light on the work our team is doing on the ground.

Working alongside refugees necessitates 𝘦𝘮𝘱𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘺 at the core of all interactions, with a 𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘶𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘥𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 to nurturing lasting connection. Bring Hope’s team in Iraq is instrumental in initiating and sustaining close ties to camp communities, who in too many
cases have seen organisations come and go long before their needs are met — a short blip in time compared to what could be more than a decade living in the camps. Developing 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘴𝘵 with communities based on 𝘮𝘶𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘭 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘵 and the 𝘥𝘪𝘨𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘺 of all parties is the most vital enabler of the work that Bring Hope does.

If you want to learn more about the reality of the work of our team or are interested in seeing more stories of the people we serve and our work of the last years, visit our photo exhibition https://lnkd.in/dZZCDZb
