On the last of the six Thursdays presenting "6 years Iraq - Stories of displacement and refuge", we wanted to shed light on the work our team is doing on the ground.
Working alongside refugees necessitates ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ข๐ต๐ฉ๐บ at the core of all interactions, with a ๐จ๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ถ๐ช๐ฏ๐ฆ ๐ฅ๐ฆ๐ฅ๐ช๐ค๐ข๐ต๐ช๐ฐ๐ฏ to nurturing lasting connection. Bring Hopeโs team in Iraq is instrumental in initiating and sustaining close ties to camp communities, who in too many
cases have seen organisations come and go long before their needs are met โ a short blip in time compared to what could be more than a decade living in the camps. Developing ๐ต๐ณ๐ถ๐ด๐ต with communities based on ๐ฎ๐ถ๐ต๐ถ๐ข๐ญ ๐ณ๐ฆ๐ด๐ฑ๐ฆ๐ค๐ต and the ๐ฅ๐ช๐จ๐ฏ๐ช๐ต๐บ of all parties is the most vital enabler of the work that Bring Hope does.
