From the South Bronx to Kurdistan: An American Psychologist Helps Yezidi Children Overcome Trauma

March 3, 2025

Stolen identities, stolen childhoods, and life-long traumas are the reality for many Yezidi children and their families. Our senior advisor and board member Dr Michelle Sanders wrote an article with experiences from her work on the ground within her profession as a psychologist. With her story and the people she has met, she reminds us all of the fundamental structure of the Bring Hope Humanitarian Foundation -- Anyone can Bring Hope!

We highly recommend you to read the article. Please follow our page for more updates on our work and share the post so that more can know about this reality.

We wish to extend our gratitude to Dr. Sanders for her courageous work and to encourage you all to reflect upon the importance of mental health activities in all of our lives.
