We are excited to announce that one of our own – Bring Hope’s Executive Board member Catherine Van Kampen has been honoured with being appointed a United Nations Association-USA Global Ambassador. Catherine will be the ambassador for SDG6 - Ensure Availability And Sustainable Management of Water and Sanitation for All. Congratulations, Catherine!

During her ambassadorship Catherine, working alongside UNA-USA staff and other volunteer leaders will focus on the specific SDG and work to promote it and develop related programming and communications at the national level.

Catherine is an attorney in the US. Through her pro bono legal work, she has throughout her career been a champion of social justice and change, particularly on behalf of immigrant and refugee women and children, including asylum seekers. Her commitment to humanitarian cause shines through both in her work in Bring Hope, but of course now in this new ambassadorship.

We are proud to have Catherine as a part of our Bring Hope family and we are confident that she will be a successful ambassador for the SDG goals!
