Roemer Goes

Roemer is Network and Partnership Manager at Bring Hope Humanitarian Foundation. Originally from the Netherlands, Roemer completed his Bachelor's in Politics, Psychology, Law and Economics (PPLE) at the University of Amsterdam. He continued his educational career in Australia, where he finished his Master's degree in Peace and Conflict Studies at the University of Queensland. Currently, he is finishing his second Master's degree in European Affairs at Lund University.
 

Throughout his academic career, Roemer developed a particular interest in promoting peaceful, inclusive and sustainable societies and alleviating global issues such as human rights abuses, inequality, and lack of access to education. Both his academic and professional career helped him comprehend the complex geopolitical dynamics that are at the core of the international relations field, as well as helped him understand the nature of international aid, development and humanitarian intervention. This provided Roemer with the motivation and inspiration to join Bring Hope, a non-profit NGO that sets out to alleviate suffering and restore the dignity of refugees, internally displaced, and people living in poverty.

Roemer is a responsible team member interested in other people's backgrounds and enjoys guiding people towards their goals. He proactively seeks to contribute to Bring Hope's objectives, and his strong communication and leadership skills make him perfect for his role. In his spare time, Roemer is a real sports fanatic with a particular love for football. He also enjoys the occasional after-work and travelling to undiscovered places.
