Distributions of Educational Materials

In collaboration with our international donors, we are able to distribute hundreds of materials such as notebooks, stationary, backpacks and more to children in refugee camps, IDP camps and host communities across Iraq.

STEM

Bring Hope’s STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) project addresses the challenge of access for refugee and IDP children to high quality and current education. We run computer skills and coding classes for kids to participate in to build market relevant skills and learning capabilities.

Physical Health

The Sport Project is a high impact social development model that works with vulnerable youth, aiming to transform the lives of the participants through an intensive, holistic, and long-term approach. On the ground in Iraqi-Kurdistan, we run a football project for young people to participate in to bolster physical health, encourage team work and cultivate productive relationships among themselves.

Train the Trainer - Together We Change

The Together We Change workshop aims at enhancing people’s ability to create an impact by providing them with the tools to make the change they want to see in the world.
This workshop was delivered to a group of representatives of NGOs working with IDPs and refugees in Erbil, Iraq. It offered an opportunity for NGOs staff to share and discuss their practices and reflect on how to improve them in order to increase their impact. Through various activities, workshop participants improved their skills in delivering training and in offering refugees and IDPs a chance to look at life from a different perspective. Additionally, workshop participants learned how to conduct short and powerful meditation and relaxation sessions as well as to teach basic yoga practices.
The workshop was followed by Train-the-Trainers activities. In this way, participating NGOs are able to disseminate the newly acquired knowledge and practices in their respective fields of work, thus improving the skills of a growing number of people.
