Unique Collaboration Provides Hope to Thousands
Too infrequently do NGO’s collaborate with each other to effect the types of real change only cooperation can make. Today though, 6 July 2017, Bring Hope Humanitarian Foundation and Free Burma Rangers (FBR/also known as Free Kurdistan Rangers) again work together to provide medicine to the front lines of Mosul. Civilians in Mosul have not been provided any adequate health care or medication for years, but with the help of Bring Hope who sources and donates medicine to the Free Kurdistan Rangers who drive to front lines where the fighting is intense and then they work with the Iraqi Army to get these needed, life-saving medications to civilians inside the front lines, this collaboration provides demonstrable help.
Dilshad Adil Yassin is a member of FBR and tells Bring Hope this loaded donation worth approximately $161,000 will reach “old Mosul” where fighting between Iraqi Army soldiers and ISIS fighters is underway, in a day or two. Dilshad explained FBR has some difficulty knowing how many people receive the medicine because, “some are shot by ISIS snipers.” He added, “…the condition in Mosul is very bad, there are dead bodies laying everywhere, a lot of civilians have been killed by ISIS because ISIS fighters are using people as a wall to protect themselves.”
It has been approximately 3 years that the people of Mosul have been subjected to the barbarities of ISIS, living conditions are extremely bad, and the health of so many is very compromised. Good medicine, food, clothes, and clean water are all needed. To make a donation or contribute to Bring Hope, please visit bringhope.info
