Toys bring smiles to children in Kirkuk
The city of Kirkuk in Iraqi Kurdistan is home to a Center for Autistic children who are refugees. With the help of the German humanitarian organization Hanseatic Help, Bring Hope Humanitarian Foundation (BHHF) distributed toys and watched as these often difficult communicators had no problem showing staff how happy they were to receive these gifts.
The big smiles and endless chatter was all it took to understand the joy each experienced when receiving their toys. The manager of this Center, Miss Frmesk expressed her sincere gratitude for this donation stating she is always so thankful to Bring Hope for the frequent donations of very needed aid including blankets, clothes, household units, shoes and of course the children’s favorite, toys.
One worker at the Center stated she was always encouraged when she learned Bring Hope was bringing donations. BHHF assured Miss Frmesk and the staff of their continuing commitment to provide needed aid. We can learn much when we look through the eyes of a child.
