The Exodus from Syria

Ahmed Idris Hose is 13 years old, his brothers are 14 and 12 and his sisters are 10 and 1 ½. He lives with his mom, dad, brothers and sisters and grandma in Kawrgosk Refugee Camp.

They walked from Qamishlo Syria after the city was surrounded by the Syrian Army who tried to make them all starve to death. Ahmed tells Bring Hope Humanitarian Foundation how hard it was to walk so far but they finally made it to Iraqi Kurdistan and now he goes to school and he really likes school.

He wants to be a football player. His favorite team is Barcelona, his favorite player is Messi. Every day after school he plays football with his friends.

We met Ahmed 27 August 2017 at the camp, he was very happy to be receiving the help Bring Hope provided. He asked us to come back soon. We will.

Ahmed’s story is not new or unique, there was a mass exodus from Qamishlo Syria when the city experienced an inner urban siege between varying factions. To help Ahmed and his family or others, see bringhope.info.

Everyone can bring hope

BHHF’s primary objective of humanitarian aid is to save lives, alleviate suffering, as well as to give the most vulnerable group (displaced children) hope for the future. BHHF has provided humanitarian aid with short-term and long-term help to homeless refugees, victims of natural disasters, wars and famines, and poor people.

Heartwarming news. Once a month.
