Medical practitioner describes the feeling to help the people of Kurdistan
Dr. Kalim a UK based medical practitioner describes always feeling there was a need to help the people of Kurdistan but he was apprehensive about going to the Kurdish region due to the many “negative” stories in the press.
However, now that he has taken the initial step to visit the region to help the many people in need he states he feels very comfortable, the staff in the clinics have been very welcoming, very professional and he feels at ease. “It is a great experience and a pleasure to be here” he continued as he described his visit.
Dr. Kalim also describes the use of medical drugs from donations made to the refugee camp in Kurdistan by IHP a well-respected humanitarian organization. Many of the drugs he explains are most useful for women, children and the elderly who often require more than one medication.
Without donations of medical drugs for treatment of the most common ailments Dr. Kalim would not be able to do his job as efficiently after traveling such a distance. Without physicians like Dr. Kalim the people most in need would not receive the help necessary for them to receive even simple medical care.
