It Took Two Years to Receive Help
Wlat refused to fight for the Syrian regime, for this he was burned on his back. He and his wife Bashar escaped somehow and made their way out of Qamishlo to Iraqi Kurdistan. They had to walk so many kilometers, it was exhausting.
They have two children Zavin who is 3 years old and Zaki who is just one. After her pregnancy she experienced changes in her vision and has been told she needs an operation but has no money to get this done.
Wlat works any job he can find just to get a little money to help his family survive. They live in Kawrgosk Refugee Camp near Erbil. They were so happy to receive help from Bring Hope Humanitarian Foundation and asked for more help, especially food. No one has helped them for more than two years and they are desperate and hungry.
