I Want to Learn English
Farhad Xayri lives in Bajid Kandal Refugee Camp near Duhok, Iraqi Kurdistan. He is from Syba Village near Shengal. Farhad told Bring Hope Humanitarian Foundation about how he and his family were lucky to find a way to escape ISIS when they entered his village, but now they live in a very bad situation. “I am so tired,” he says. “When I come home from school I have to go to work and take care of my small brother, we like to have toys and food.”
On 6 August 2017 Bring Hope Humanitarian Foundation distributed food and milk powder in Farhad’s camp. We gave Farhad and his brother food and milk powder and he told us that it has been more than one year since his small brother has had any milk powder. Farhad wants Bring Hope to keep coming to his camp and tells us, “I want to learn the English language and I hope that the Kurdistan Regional Government and other humanitarian agencies can provide more English teachers at the camp to help me learn English.” To help Farhad and others like him, see bringhope.info
