Footballers, Rappers and Milk Powder, Who Knew?

Another momentous day at Harsham Refugee Camp in Erbil Province, the return of former UK footballer Kevin Campbell along with yet another celebrity, international rap star K2Rhym who climbs Arabic music charts as the top rapper.

Both celebrities are Bring Hope Humanitarian Foundation ambassadors, they arrive here to play a little football, distribute football kits and yes…distribute baby milk powder.

Bring Hope is the only humanitarian foundation that continues to bring engaged celebrities to the Kurdistan region to raise awareness of the plight of people living in the various refugee camps here. Bring Hope develops celebrity relationships to enhance humanitarian programs, designed to keep children and adults living in the camps hopeful about and participatory in the design of their future.

These celebrities spend several days in Kurdistan, visiting various camps and traveling among different Provinces. Sponsored by Bring Hope Humanitarian Foundation, activities on the ground include, distribution of humanitarian aid and activities to promote Hope, such as football, music and play.

See bringhope.info for more information on how to support these or other Bring Hope programs.

Everyone can bring hope

BHHF’s primary objective of humanitarian aid is to save lives, alleviate suffering, as well as to give the most vulnerable group (displaced children) hope for the future. BHHF has provided humanitarian aid with short-term and long-term help to homeless refugees, victims of natural disasters, wars and famines, and poor people.

Heartwarming news. Once a month.
