Duhok Women Social and Reformatory Center
Duhok Women’s Social Center requested the Sewan team to visit them to assess the situation of clients.
There are 48 women living in the Center and eight of them have children. The Center belongs to the Kurdistan Region Government (KRG)- Interior Ministry. KRG is in desperate economic straits due to lack of support from the Iraqi government so services provided to the women living in the Center become more difficult and very restricted.
The focus has been on providing food and basic necessities. The Center requested winter clothes and hygiene material for these women and children. Based on Sewan staff assessments, 50 pairs of winter clothes, women’s shoes, soap, toys for the children and blankets were provided.
Zaki Salih- the manager of Duhok Reformatory Social Center: “We are very happy with the material that Sewan has provided the Center with”
Zaki Salih “Our thanks to Bring Hope Humanitarian Foundation for the help because in the Center we do not have a budget to buy winter clothes for the clients”
