Duhok Health Sector Receives Medicine
Duhok health sector is in close proximity to Mosul and as such, this area receives many IDP’s and refugees in need of medical care. With the on-going conflict in the area, Duhok has not received assistance from the Iraqi government and relies heavily on the KRG (Kurdistan Regional Government) and other NGO’s to help sustain their ability to effectively treat patients.
Bring Hope Humanitarian Foundation continues to help the Duhok Health Director by providing needed medicines of all types to be used in the treatment of any patient presenting for medical care. This load of medicine on 16 July 2017 was worth an estimated $659,000 and is acquired through the generous donations of many aid societies and NGO’s across Europe.
