Doctor Travel Packs for Disaster Regions

Bring Hope Humanitarian Foundation (BHHF) provides many international organizations’ medical teams who are working on the ground in Kurdistan Doctor Travel Packs (DTP).

DTP’s contain an array of most needed medications for people living in or coming from disaster regions. The medicines contained in the DTP’s are chosen based on statistics gathered by international organizations when treating disaster victims and their most common needs. Each travel pack contains two boxes that include 60-65 different items, enough to treat up to 10,000 patients.

DTP’s arrived at Bring Hope’s warehouse in Iraqi Kurdistan as a donation from UK based International Health Partners (IHP) in September 2016. To date BHHF has distributed 40 packs or enough to treat 40,000 patients. These DTP’s went to 20 different clinics in 20 refugee camps, treating Syrian refugees, Mosul IDP’s Yazidi Kurds and some were provided by BHHF to other NGO’s.

Each DTP costs £450 or approximately 8,000 USD which treats 1,000 patients. 1£ treats 2 patients. The 40 packs already distributed cost $320,000 USD; however, more DTP’s are desperately needed.

With resources stretched very thin Bring Hope seeks immediate help to ensure the health and well-being of all refugees are addressed in a timely manner. Please help Bring Hope treat more people with a tax-deductible donation today.

Everyone can bring hope

BHHF’s primary objective of humanitarian aid is to save lives, alleviate suffering, as well as to give the most vulnerable group (displaced children) hope for the future. BHHF has provided humanitarian aid with short-term and long-term help to homeless refugees, victims of natural disasters, wars and famines, and poor people.

Heartwarming news. Once a month.
