Collaborating with DAMA NGO
Medicine is being loaded July 2, 2017 at the warehouse of Bring Hope Humanitarian Foundation. This medicine is headed to Hassan Sham Refugee Camp and is made possible through the collaboration between DAMA (Doctors Aid Medical Activities), an NGO offering medical and health services to citizens and residents of the Kurdistan region of Iraq, and Bring Hope.
This is a load of medicine that includes Metronidazole, Zindolin, Nefoxef, and Azithromycin with an estimated value of $30,360. These medications will be placed at the DAMA health center run by Mohammed Fawzi, MD within Hassam Sham Camp.
The collaboration between these two organizations has made the life of logistics officer Hamza Khazal of DAMA much easier as he is now able to treat more patients with necessary medicines which have been lacking in the past.
Hamza Khazal stated he is very grateful to Bring Hope for bringing these needed medications. Hassan Sham Refugee Camp houses many internally displaced people from the Mosul area who fled from the threat of ISIS.
