Clara Edwards

Clara joined Bring Hope in January 2021 as Social Media Officer intern. She originally comes from the north of Sweden but has lived across the world since (and whilst) pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Development studies and Human Geography at Lund University.

In her academic endeavours, Clara has focused on human geography and human ecology within the development field, with a keen interest in social sustainability. Her Bachelor thesis investigated social sustainability in accordance with the SDGs in the North of Sweden. Taking inspiration from this, she wishes to pursue a career within the development field with a focus on social, environmental, and economic sustainability jointly. With a transdisciplinary focus, she enjoys working with people from different fields of expertise and learning from and with each other whilst working for a more sustainable future.

In joining Bring Hope, she hopes to be a driving force in social media outreach and communicate the fantastic work that the foundation is doing. As a person, she is a motivated individual with a strong will to succeed in team-working processes. In a capabilities-based network such as Bring Hope she sees opportunities to work and learn with other professionals in an exciting developmental phase for the foundation.

When she is not working, she spends time outdoors, preferably free-skiing and climbing.

Everyone can bring hope

BHHF’s primary objective of humanitarian aid is to save lives, alleviate suffering, as well as to give the most vulnerable group (displaced children) hope for the future. BHHF has provided humanitarian aid with short-term and long-term help to homeless refugees, victims of natural disasters, wars and famines, and poor people.

Heartwarming news. Once a month.
