Bring Hope Humanitarian Foundation preparing to help new arrived refugees from Mosul
Millions of refugees are expected to make their way into Kurdistan for a chance to escape the ravages of war and Bring Hope Humanitarian Foundation (BHHF) is on the ground to aid them every way possible. Seven loads of clothing, shoes, blankets, tents, shampoo, soap and other personal care items are awaiting these newly arrived refugees to be distributed by BHHF one of the few humanitarian organizations live and on location in Kurdistan and operating in the refugee camps.
Only a handful of agencies operate live and on site to effectively provide help to these most vulnerable war-displaced refugees. The importance of having an established presence at the location of the refugee camps is innumerable but include the direct and quick response of in-place staff assessing needs, reacting to immediate issues and providing immediate aid. BHHF has been working with the Kurdistan government and refugee camp personnel to ensure their response is timely and efficient.
Bring Hope Humanitarian Foundation has long-established working relationships with the existing refugee camps and because of this has vigorously and urgently responded to the increased needs presenting the region due to recent, on-going and active war engagement in the Mosul area. Additional loads of medications, clothing and personal items have just shipped from Germany and the Netherlands as the demand is far exceeding the supply.
