Blankets Provide More Than Warmth

Blankets and duvets arrive from Macedonia on February 22, 2017. Made of high quality material in the UK and valued at approximately 2 million USD, three loads or 18,000 items are received, enough to benefit 6,000 families.

Bring Hope Humanitarian Foundation distributed these blankets/duvets to refugee camps in Mosul Province for Mosul IDP’s, to refugee camps in Erbil Province for Christian refugees, in the Shangal mountains where 3,000 Yezidi families live and in southern Iraq to IDP’s living there.

Iraq winters can be quite harsh, especially for those living in mountains or in tents within refugee camps. Temperatures may reach below 0 degrees Celsius and deaths have occurred from cold.

Today though, Bring Hope provided more than warmth with this distribution of blankets/duvets, they provided hope to a people already suffering. To help, see

Everyone can bring hope

BHHF’s primary objective of humanitarian aid is to save lives, alleviate suffering, as well as to give the most vulnerable group (displaced children) hope for the future. BHHF has provided humanitarian aid with short-term and long-term help to homeless refugees, victims of natural disasters, wars and famines, and poor people.

Heartwarming news. Once a month.
