7.3 Earthquake

Quick response is key when there are unforeseen tragedies that occur such as the recent 7.3 earthquake that hit the Iran/Iraq border area recently. Felt in Erbil, Iraqi Kurdistan, Bring Hope Humanitarian Foundation rallied its local resources for an immediate response and impact that amazed those whose lives were indeed compromised. Medicines were sent to Erbil’s West Emergency Hospital and Rizgari Hospital, also to Halabja and Sulaimaniyah Emergency Hospital.

Humanitarian aid was delivered immediately to Makhmur, Halabja, and Kalar in Iraq and Kermashan in Iran that included blankets and clothing. When there is an available organization who is local and on-the-ground, aid is never delayed and in this case the immediacy of the response was an overwhelming success for those affected most urgently. Everyone can bring hope

BHHF’s primary objective of humanitarian aid is to save lives, alleviate suffering, as well as to give the most vulnerable group (displaced children) hope for the future. BHHF has provided humanitarian aid with short-term and long-term help to homeless refugees, victims of natural disasters, wars and famines, and poor people.

Heartwarming news. Once a month.

Thank you!
